PhD candidates can participate in OUC research projects with different thematic focus. The China Scholarship Council provides grants for the research period at OUC (from three months).

For students from the Ocean University China

Based on agreements between both universities, OUC students have the chance to apply for postgraduate studies at the University of Bremen leading to the award of a doctorate in natural sciences. Research facilities are provided not only at the Faculties of the University, but also at the associated research institutions in Bremen and Bremerhaven. The PhD candidate will make contact with a potential supervisor itself.
