Since 2005, scientists of the OUC, the Universities in Bremen and Kiel and their affiliated research institutions arrange two-week training courses with interdisciplinary lectures, practical work and field excursions. The summer schools are offered to students who are enrolled at one of the partner universities and have a background in marine sciences at the graduate or postgraduate level. The language of instruction is English. Participation is limited to about 14 students of each country.
The 8th Sino-German Summer School „Short- and long-term variability in the ocean-atmosphere climate system” is scheduled from 10 to 15 September 2012 at the University of Bremen and will be continued from 17 to 21 September 2012 in Kiel.
Details about the programme and the deadline for students’ application will follow.
