PhD, Diplom, MSc

The ZMT hosts and supervises undergraduate and graduate students from Germany and abroad, to carry out their research at the ZMT or within one of our projects in tropical countries.

Students interested in MSc opportunities are advised to check the information on the ISATEC (International Studies in Aquatic Tropical Ecology) Programme.

Prospective PhD-students, irrespective of nationality, may submit a short CV and topic proposal via email to contacte-mail addresszmt-bremen.de.

Since funding is limited, prospective students should investigate availability of external funding, for example at the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), governments, private foundations or home institutions. When applying for financial support at the DAAD, documentation should be submitted to the DAAD-office in the country of origin, or to the German Embassy in those countries without a DAAD office.
